Currently covering Amendment 3, from 15 April it will include Amendment 4, with training and assessment options for both versions during the transition period. Learners can take either the current 2382‑22 or the new 2382‑26 online test (when available) until 15 October. From 16 October, only the 2382‑26 test will be available.


C&G 2382-22 accredited course of the IET Wiring Regulations

Course Duration: 3 Days

Location: PASS – Premier Inn Newcastle Team Valley, Maingate, Kingway North, Team Valley Trading Estate, NE11 0BE.

Certification Gained: Upon passing the exam, you will be awarded a City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in 18th Edition Regulations.

Assessment:  The examination for the 2382-22 course in Newcastle is two hours long and takes place on the third day of the course.

Recommended Reading: Candidates should read and bring the current copy of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations book to the course.

This training course follows the syllabus outlined by City and Guilds 2382-22 and teaches learners everything they need to know about understanding the IET Wiring Regulations. Attendees will benefit if familiarised themselves with the wiring regulations prior to the start of the course.

All those wanting to work in or currently working in, environments requiring 18th Edition qualifications will need to complete the 2382-22 18th Edition course.

It is ideally suited to those already in the electrical industry who need to update to the new regulation standards or those who are fairly new to the industry and haven’t yet studied for a 18th Edition qualification.

Progression and Development

The 18th Edition qualification is one of the basic qualifications required to work in the electrical industry. It also works as a pre-requisite to more advanced electrical training courses.

Pre-requisites

Any prior electrical knowledge will be an advantage, although not essential. All learners must be interested in the subject matter and willing to learn in order to gain entry to this course.
