New Amendment 2022

This course is up-to date with the new Amendment 2, to BS 7671:2018 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations which was released 28th March 2022, it introduces a new requirement for Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDDs), updated requirements for the fire safety design for buildings and a new chapter on Prosumer’s Low Voltage Electrical Installations.

The ET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition: BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 form the new standard to which all new electrical installations, additions and alterations are to comply.

It’s recommended that those attending the course have a copy of the current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.

Course Duration: 3 Days

Location: Arena Training Centre, Unit 1, Coleford Road Business Centre, Darnall, Sheffield, S9 5NF

Certification Gained: City & Guilds 2382-22 Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018+A2:2022 18th Edition Amendment 2

Assessment:  Candidates will be expected to complete a two-hour examination after the third day of the course.

Recommended Reading: Candidates should read and bring the current copy of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations book to the course.

This training course follows the syllabus outlined by City and Guilds 2382-22 and teaches attendees everything they need to know about understanding the IET Wiring Regulations. Candidates will benefit if familiarised themselves with the wiring regulations prior to the start of the course.
