The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course is City & Guilds accredited and follows the syllabus set out by City & Guilds, it ensures candidates have a full understanding of the regulations and amendments and how to find them in the book so that you can effectively and safely apply them to real-life working situations.

Please note: you will require a copy of the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (orange book) for this 18th edition course.

Course Duration: 3 Days

Location: Aldershot Enterprise Centre, Mandora House, Galley Rd, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 2PW (GU11 2DD for Sat Nav)

Certification Gained: City & Guilds 2382-26 (including Amendment 4) Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018+A4:2026

Assessment: When you’ve completed the classroom sessions, you’ll be required to sit a 2hr multiple-choice exam.
You’ll be able to use a copy of the IET Wiring Regulations (orange book) during the exam, although it has to be a clean copy.

New Amendment 4
This course is up to date with the latest amendment: BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations, which was released April 2026.

Suitability

There are no formal requirements for this qualification, however, it is recommended that you work within the electrical industry and have basic knowledge of electrical science and electrical systems.
