Course Details
Course Details
PAT testing is a requirement to ensure that all electrical appliances in a building are safe for use, and is required to make sure that you adhere to several different work regulations. These are covered further in your course notebook (which will be provided free of charge).
By completing the training with PASS, candidates can save money on PAT testing carrying out the work themselves. This course is also ideally suited to those wishing to embark on a career as a PAT tester.
Lunch and refreshments are included in the price of the course.
Assessment
On the one day course, you’ll be taught all about PAT testing, studying both the theory behind the process and also carrying out physical testing yourself. This allows you to not only gain incredibly important knowledge of electrical safety but also helps you to understand the principles of why PAT testing is carried out.
Certification
After successfully completing the course, candidates will receive a Certificate of Confidence – This is proof to employers and potential clients of your ability to PAT test.

The one day course runs from 9 AM to approximately 4 PM.

Pre-requisites
No formal qualifications are required to sit this course but an interest in electrics would be beneficial.

Course Reading Material
An IEE Code of Practice would come in handy on this course, but it is not a necessity.
