During the course, learners will benefit from a combination of classroom-based learning and practical exercises, helping them develop confidence with electrical test equipment, inspection procedures and documentation. Over two days, the course covers safe isolation, testing methods, safe working practices and the requirements of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
*Please note that this course provides an introduction to inspection and testing and does not qualify you as an electrician.
Course Details
During the course, learners will benefit from a combination of classroom-based learning and practical exercises, helping them develop confidence with electrical test equipment, inspection procedures and documentation. Over two days, the course introduces essential inspection and testing principles, including safe isolation, testing methods, safe working practices and the requirements of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Safely isolate circuits before work or testing

Duration: 2 Days
Assessment: Learners will complete one written assessment and one practical assessment at the end of the course.
Certification: Successful learners will receive a PASS Training Certificate of Attendance.

Prerequisites: No prior electrical qualifications are needed to enrol on this course. Learners should have a reasonable standard of written and spoken English and an interest in developing their knowledge of electrical inspection and testing.
