18th Edition Wiring Regulations Courses

The new IET 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (released 2nd July 2018) is the industry standard for anyone working with electrical installations in the UK.

The IET has stated that from Jan 2019 all work carried out must comply with the new regulations. We have two courses for those who are looking to get qualified. The 3 day City & Guilds 2382:2018) covers the full syllabus and is suited for those who have not previously completed the City and Guilds 2382:2015 with 3rd amendment. For those who have recently acquired the 17th Edition with 3rd amendment, we offer a 1-day update course which covers only the changes between the two editions.  Take a look at all the locations and course dates below to book your City & Guilds 18th Edition course.

The 18th Edition or BS 7671:2018 Wiring Regulations apply to the design, erection and verification of electrical installations, also additions and alterations to existing installations. The course will provide you with a good grounding in the regulations and is suitable for anyone working in the electrical industry and domestic installers who need an understanding of the wiring regulations for their trade.

From 2019 anyone who wants to register onto a competent person scheme will need to hold an 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate (BS 7671:2018).
The 2382-18 qualification will officially replace the older 2382-12 and from July 2018 will also replace the 2382-15 course.
