Course Details
The course content will ensure that attendees have a full and sufficient understanding of the legal implications and responsibilities associated with the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
The content will cover:
• Hazards & Effects of Electricity
• The Purpose & Background of the Regulations
• Scope of the Regulations
• Employers, Employees & Contractors Responsibilities
• Review of Regulations
• Legal Implications of Non-Compliance
Assessments
Assessment is via written examination (Open Book).
Candidates who successfully complete the theoretical competency assessment will receive a PASS Certificate of Competence in The Electricity At Work Regulations 1989. Those who fail or do not wish to undertake the competency assessment will receive a PASS “Attendance” certificate.

This EAWR course is suitable for anyone who works with or around electriacl voltages from 12V to 400,000V. Whether you are a supervisor or a electrical apprentice you will come away knowing your responsibilities and legal requirements.
