Course Overview

17th Edition Birmingham Course incorporating Amendment No. 3

Anyone working within the electrical sector should have sound, working knowledge of the IET’s 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. At Electrical Training Course, we run regular training courses for the City and Guilds 2382-15 17th Edition Birmingham.

Incorporating the latest changes made under Amendment 3 of the IET Wiring Regs (2015), our Birmingham 17th edition course is taught by experienced, professional tutors and is City and Guilds accredited. During the course, you will learn about each section of the IET Wiring Regulations, complete with full guidance from our tutors to help you prepare for the online exam taken at the end of the course.

It is recommended that candidates have a copy of the IET Wiring Regulations for this course. The most up-to-date version of the book is yellow in colour and includes Amendment 3 changes. You can purchase a copy of the book directly from our test equipment website, Tester.co.uk.

Note: even if you have an existing 17th edition qualification, you will need to attend an updated course which includes the Amendment 3 content. Attending our 17th edition Birmingham course is ideal for ensuring that you continue working to the correct standards.

The 2382-15 training officially replaces the older 2382-12 course. You are no longer required to complete a 2382-12 course, as it has been deemed obsolete and does not include up-to-date content.
