The Local Area

Newcastle is always bustling with people, things to do and places to see. Why not visit the Baltic Art Gallery, situated in an old flour mill overlooking the river Tyne? The Sage is also right nearby on the Gateshead side of the river and is visited regularly by huge names in the music industry.

Newcastle itself is full of things to see and do. It includes the huge Eldon Square shopping centre, theatres, the Metro Radio arena, restaurants, cinema and is also home the Life centre, a unique museum focusing on science.

With plenty of bars around, there’s also loads to do on a night.
