Learning to install solar panels is becoming one of the most in-demand skills. Solar panel installation is an effective way for commercial and domestic properties to become ‘greener’ and solar panel courses are becoming more popular as demand increases. PASS’s solar panel installation course is three days long and covers installations of solar photovoltaics up to 5kWp output.
With a purpose built, full size indoor roof the learners can experience the practicalities of installing Solar Panels onto common roofing structures and how logistically the wiring and connections would impact on the roof, attic and infrastructure of a home or property.
Suitable for:
- Experienced electricians

Electrical installers with relevant qualifications and knowledge such as 17th Edition wiring and building regulations
- Those involved in the Solar PV chain but not actually handling installations such as managers, surveyors or designers.
- Part P competent person

Course Venues
This course is currently available at the Teesside electrical training centre in the North East of England and on completion will allow the candidate to install solar panels to electrical systems safely and effectively.
