The City and Guilds Management of In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT Testing) 2377-10 training course in Teesside, contains both theoretical learning and an insight into practical elements involved in the inspection and testing of portable appliances, more commonly known as PAT Testing.
On completion of this PAT Testing training course, successful candidates should be able to undertake basic PAT Testing, keep records to satisfy the Electricity at Work Regulations and maintain administrative records.

This City and Guilds PAT Testing course will conclude with a 60-question online examination. This will be an open-book examination, lasting one hour.
Successful candidates will achieve a City and Guilds Management of In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment - 2377-10 certificate and a certificate of attendance from PASS.
Candidates who fail the examination will only receive a certificate of attendance from PASS.
This course is one day long, runs from 9am-5pm and is held at the Stockton training centre.
This City and Guilds PAT Testing course in Stockton on Tees is aimed at anyone with a responsibility to set and control a system in order to maintain electrical equipment. PAT Managers, Facilities Managers, Health and Safety and PAT Technicians will be most suited to this course.
Candidates do not have to be practicing electricians, but should have a basic knowledge of electrical and PAT Testing principles.

City and Guilds advise that; It is expected that candidates attempting this qualification should be familiar with electrical systems and hazards of electricity in order to satisfactorily complete the qualification.
