The City and Guilds Inspection of Electrical Installations - 2391-10 training course in Stockton offers a comprehensive introduction to: inspection and testing, test equipment, the order of testing, continuity of protective conductors, insulation resistance tests, polarity and earth electrode testing, earth fault loop impedance tests, RCD tests, other rarely used tests and the recording of results.
This City and Guilds electrical training course will be assessed by a two and a half hour written examination. The examination will take place on a Thursday evening (usually on the last day of the course) and is only available six times a year. The date and time of examinations are set by the City and Guilds examination board.
Candidates are also required to complete a practical electrical training assessment which lasts around three hours. This must be taken on the fourth day or at a mutually convenient time for both the PASS Stockton on Tees electrical training centre and the candidate.
Both sections must be passed to receive City and Guilds Certification.
Successful candidates will achieve a City and Guilds Inspection of Electrical Installations - 2391-10 certificate and a certificate of attendance from PASS.
Candidates who fail the examination will only receive a certificate of attendance from PASS
The Teesside course lasts for 4 days from 9am-5pm, including practical assessment
If the course is booked less than 8 weeks before the start date then a late exam registration fee is imposed by City and Guilds and will be payable before the course start date.
We cannot accept entries for the examination unless you book at least 2 weeks prior to the start date.
In cases where the registration date has expired, you will have to sit the examination at the next available opportunity.

This North East City and Guilds course is aimed at working electricians involved in the inspection and testing of electrical systems. The electrical training within the course allows you to apply for an electrician competency scheme such as NICEIC, ELECSA, BSI and NAPIT.
