

The Heating and Boiler Control Training Course has been designed for electricians and electrical installers to maintain and install domestic heating control systems safely and effectively.

This Stockton on Tees based course will cover the relevant health & safety requirements in relation to heating control systems along with the relevant regulations. It will discuss the different types of heating systems and the control devices used to operate and control them. The good insight into wiring and heating controls gained, will allow the candidate to make assessments of systems and their suitability within a domestic setting.
Candidates will be able to install and commission a common heating control system using correct tools and equipment, before learning how to perform fault finding techniques on heating control systems. This course will satisfy all parts of the Building Regulations in reference to installing heating controls.
The course includes both practical and theory based work which will be assessed on the day.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate of attendance from PASS Training and Development.
This course is one day long and is based at the Stockton training centre located close to Darlington and Durham.

The Teesside Heating and Boiler Controls course is most suited to the electrician or the domestic electrical installer who would like the skills to install and maintain an electrical system related to domestic heating control systems.
This course is a good progression from the Part P course, allowing an in-depth understanding of heating controls and providing an extra revenue stream to offer clients.
To enrol on the Heating and Boiler Controls electrical course, candidates must be practicing domestic installers and hold 17th Edition and Part P qualifications, or be studying towards them.
Candidates are required to read and bring with them to the Stockton training course;
This course requires additional reading. It is recommended that candidates get a copy of the texts required for all courses.
