The 17th Edition course is a theory based City & Guilds Wiring Regulations course, hosted in Stockton (Teesside), has been designed for electricians and tradesmen currently working in the electrical sector and require 17th Edition training to obtain 17th Edition qualifications for electrical installations.

The City & Guilds 2382-10, Stockton 17th Edition course is classroom-based with no practical work involved. It focuses on the BS 7671 2008 Regulations and IEE On-site Guide, covering details such 17th Edition training as the scope and object of the regulations, safety, isolating and switching, terminology and definitions, shock protection, earthing and bonding, inspection and testing and more. The 17th Edition course will prepare candidates to sit the City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition exam.
This 17th Edition course will deliver an industry-standard City & Guilds qualification, which covers the BS 7672 2008 Regulations for Electrical Installations. The City & Guilds Wiring Regulations course is recommended for those who have not completed a 17th Edition training course before.
The Teesside based City and Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition course will be assessed by an open-book, 60-question, multiple choice online 17th Edition exam. The 17th Edition exam will take place during the afternoon of the fourth day and will involve the use of a PC.
Successful candidates who pass the 17th Edition course and 17th Edition exam, will achieve a City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Level 3 Wiring Regulations certificate and a certificate of attendance from PASS.
Candidates who fail the 17th Edition exam will only receive a certificate of attendance from PASS.
The 17th Edition course is 3.5 days long and is also available as an evening 17th Edition course. The City & Guilds 17th Edition training is hosted at the PASS Electrical Training centre in Stockton-On-Tees, Cleveland.
This City and Guilds 17th Edition course is aimed at electricians with relevant electrical experience or electrical training and other associated professionals such as: contractors, domestic installers, contract managers, designers, consultants, electrical engineers and others that need IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. The 17th Edition course teaches candidates the essentials of the BS 7671 (2008) IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
The Teesside City and Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition course is recommended for those who are registering on a Part P scheme. A basic understanding of the regulations is recommended for those who want to successfully complete this course.
Candidates who successfully pass the City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Level 3 Wiring Regulations course and the 17th Edition exam would be well positioned to continue onto the following City and Guilds qualifications:
Previous knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations is not assumed, but a fundamental knowledge of electrical principles is expected. For this reason, the 17th Edition course is more suited to those with electrical knowledge, training or who have passed previous electricians courses.
There is a 17th Edition Update course available for those who have completed a 16th Edition course after June 2001. This is called the City and Guilds 17th Edition - 2382-20 Wiring Regulations Update Course and is only 1.5 days.
