This theory based City & Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course, hosted in Stockton-on-Tees, has been designed for electricians and tradesmen currently working in the electrical sector who require 17th edition training for electrical installations.

The City & Guilds 2382-10, Stockton on Tees 17th Edition course is classroom-based and does not involve practical work. It focuses on the BS 7671 2008 Regulations and the IEE On-site Guide, and covers details such as the scope and object of the regulations, safety, isolating and switching, terminology and definitions, shock protection, earthing and bonding, inspection and testing and more. The course will prepare candidates to sit the City and Guilds 2382 17th Edition exam.
The 17th Edition course gives an industry-standard City & Guilds qualification and is recommended for those who have not completed a 17th Edition Training course before.
The Teesside based City and Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Training course is assessed by an online open-book, 60-question, multiple choice exam.
Successful candidates receive a City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Level 3 Wiring Regulation certificate and a certificate of attendance from PASS.
Candidates who fail the examination will only receive a certificate of attendance from PASS.
This course runs for eight evenings on a Tuesday night from 6pm - 9pm and is also available as a 3.5 day 17th Edition course during the daytime. It is based at the Stockton on Tees training centre close to Middlesbrough, Redcar and Thirsk and has close links to major local motorways.
This City and Guilds 17th Edition training course is aimed at electricians with relevant electrical experience/electrical training and other professionals including: contractors, domestic installers, contract managers, designers, consultants and others that need the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
The Teesside evening City and Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Course is recommended for those who are registering on a Part P scheme. A basic understanding of the regulation is recommended for those who want to successfully complete this course.
Candidates who successfully pass the City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Level 3 Wiring Regulations Course would then be able to continue onto the following City and Guilds qualifications:
Previous knowledge of the IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations is not assumed, but knowledge of electrical principles is expected. For this reason, the City & Guilds 2382 Course is more suited to those with electrical knowledge, training or who have passed previous electric based courses.
There is a 17th Edition Update Course available for those who have completed the 16th Edition course after June 2001. The City and Guilds 17th Edition - 2382-20 Wiring Regulations Update Course is specifically aimed at candidates holding this previous qualification and runs for 1.5 days.
